Rove Slim Battery, a 510 Thread Pen
The Rove Slim Battery is a pen style 510 thread device, the narrowest of the three batteries Rove sells. It takes any standard 510 cartridge, which means it runs the whole Rove cart range rather than one line of it.
It is the simplest option here and the one to buy if you want something that disappears in a pocket. The Pro Designer Battery is the larger device with a screen and the Diamond Series Battery is the pod only battery that does not take carts at all. The cartridges this runs are in the Rove cartridge range.

Rove sells this in more than one finish. The listing photographs show a standard black card and a Gold Edition card, and a third image shows three pens side by side in gold, a green Featured Farms design and plain black. No picker on the page lets you choose between them.
If you are buying your first Rove device and you want it for cartridges, this is the sensible default. It costs $5 more than the pod battery and $10 less than the Pro Designer, and unlike the pod battery it works with almost everything in the catalogue. A pen is also the least conspicuous of the three formats, which matters more to some buyers than screen features or artwork do.
