The Rove Diamond Series Battery is the device Rove pods are built for. It is a 350 mAh pod battery with a diamond shaped button, and the pods click into it magnetically rather than screwing in. Rove’s own copy is explicit that only Rove Diamond pods work with it.
That is the thing to understand before buying either half. A pod without this battery does not work, and this battery does not take 510 thread cartridges, so it will not run the rest of Rove’s range. The Slim Battery and the Pro Designer Battery are the other two batteries Rove sells and both do take 510 carts. The pods it fits are in the Rove pods this battery runs.

The compatibility limit is worth stating plainly because it cuts both ways. If you already own Rove carts, this battery will not help you. If you have bought a Rove pod, this is the only device that will run it, and it is sold separately at $30 against $85 for the pod.
