Gelato Rove Carts are the most balanced cart in this line and the easiest to recommend without qualification. Sweet cream sits over a light citrus, the body is calm without being heavy, and the head stays clear enough to hold a conversation. It is the version of Gelato most people are picturing.
The rosin is washed from fresh frozen material in ice water, pressed by hand and cold cured. No solvent is involved at any stage, which is the whole reason this line costs what it does. Honeydew ice rosin runs sweeter and Lychee washed rosin runs sharper if you want to move either direction. Rove sells Gelato in four lines. The cured resin, live resin and CTO versions are all solvent extracted and priced lower. This is the washed one, and the honest position is that if price matters more than purity, the Gelato cured resin cart will do the same job for less.
